Senvion wins 101.2MW wind project in India

Senvion wins wind farm contract for their proprietary onshore wind turbines and wind energy projects (wind project)


Senvion has won the first contract for wind energy in India, a 101.2MW wind project from ReNew Power, one of the largest renewable energy companies in the country.
The Bhuwad Wind Project will be located in Gujarat, and will be comprised of forty four Senvion 2.3M120 turbines with a 120m hub height. Once commissioned next year, the wind farm will produce enough electricity to power 100,000 Indian homes.
