Vestas China received an order from Datang for a 99MW wind power project for the Shandianhe project in Guyuan County of northern China’s Hebei Province.
The project will include 45 V110-2.0MW wind turbines and the Power Optimised Mode which means the rated capacity increases to 2.2MW per turbine.
The contract requires Vestas to supply the wind turbines, supervise installations and includes their Active Output Management 4000 (AOM4000) service contract which means they will guarantee performance and high level of service.
The wind power project scheduled for late 2017 also includes VestasOnline® Business which is their SCADA system for data-driven monitoring and proactive maintenance.
Vice General Manager of Datang, Zhao Zonglin said, “Datang started to cooperate with Vestas more than 10 years ago. We trust Vestas’ technologies and experience, and we believe in our strong partnership.”
President of Vestas China, Kebao Yang said, “Datang is a long-term customer and the Shandianhe project is another example of our strong partnership and the great business case our wind energy solutions offer in China. The project takes Vestas’ announced order intake in China to almost 600 MW in 2017, which underlines the progress that our customer relationships and wind energy offerings are driving.”
Vestas has already supplied Datang with approximately 900MW of installed wind power.
